River Valley Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Aden Montgomery
River Valley picked up their seventh consecutive win on Thursday thanks in part to Aden Montgomery. Nobody could stop Montgomery as he made four total tackles (1.0 for loss). His longest rush was for an incredible 88 yards.
River Valley pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Montgomery and River Valley will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Odyssey Institute at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th.

Isac Urias and Co. Win Fourth in a Row
Mohave picked up their fourth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Isac Urias. Urias did his part (and then some), rushing for 95 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, while also throwing for 47 yards and two touchdowns for the 'W'.
Mohave's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Urias and Mohave will square off against Wickenburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Mickey Smith Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Thursday, River Valley got the W thanks in part to Mickey Smith playing the best football he has all season. Smith rushed for 74 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 66 yards and two touchdowns. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 69 yards.
For the season, Smith has thrown 13 touchdowns while averaging 87.7 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he had six passing touchdowns.

Triston Urias produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Mohave to the win on Friday. Urias rushed for 36 yards and a touchdown, and also caught a touchdown.
For the season, Urias has caught 2 touchdowns while averaging 25.4 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after five games last season, he was only averaging ten receiving yards per game.
