Lifestyle Christian comes up short despite Aric Musterman's strong performance

The Lifestyle Christian Victors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Calvary Baptist on the road and fell 68-37. Lifestyle Christian found out winning isn't easy when you don't work as a unit and post ten fewer assists than your opponent.

Despite the loss, Lifestyle Christian still got an impressive performance from Aric Musterman, who shot 5-for-10 from long range and dropped a double-double on 29 points and 11 rebounds. Musterman continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Calvary Baptist's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Max Guisler, who almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds. Guisler has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Tyler Wilson, who scored 16 points along with seven assists and four steals.

Lifestyle Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Calvary Baptist, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-15.

Lifestyle Christian will be playing at home against Briarwood at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Briarwood is coming into the game with five straight defeats on the road, meaning Lifestyle Christian will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win. As for Calvary Baptist, they will take on The Covenant Preparatory School at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Covenant Preparatory School has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 869 points over their last 12 contests.
