            Softball Recap: Fenton Tigers vs. Holly Bronchos        
        
		
        
        
            Fenton gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener  on Monday. Everything went their way against the Holly Bronchos as they made off with  a  12-2 win. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Bronchos recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive  victory against them.

 Lillian Tillier made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off   four  hits. What's more,  she posted five  strikeouts, the most she's  had since back in May of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news, Fenton got a  massive  performance out of  Izzy MacCaughan, who  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 1-for-3. That's the most  stolen bases  MacCaughan has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Lily Underwood, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-2.
 Fenton  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .625. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Holly only posted  an  OBP of  .273.
Holly's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Fenton is set to  take on  their familiar foe Swartz Creek  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Holly will  challenge  rival Linden  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
