Volleyball Recap: Avon Lake Takes a Loss

Avon Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Avon Eagles, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-19, 25-12.

Avon Lake's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Avon, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Avon Lake will square off against rival Bard Early College at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Avon is set to take on their familiar foe Normandy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in the Eagles' favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while the Invaders have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
