Baseball Recap: Riverdale Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Riverdale's offense. They fell just short of the Iowa-Grant Panthers by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The game marked the first time this season in which the Chieftains were not able to get on the board.

Riverdale's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Iowa-Grant, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Riverdale is set to challenge their familiar foe Boscobel at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Iowa-Grant will face off against rival Southwestern at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
