Basketball Game Preview: Liberty Center Tigers vs. Springfield Blue Devils

The Liberty Center Tigers are taking a road trip to challenge the Springfield Blue Devils at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Liberty Center is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took a 45-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tinora.

Meanwhile, Springfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 40-36 heartbreaker at the hands of Bowling Green.

Springfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Liberty Center, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Everything went Liberty Center's way against Springfield when the teams last played back in December of 2023, as Liberty Center made off with a 48-27 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Liberty Center since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
