Lexington gave up the first points on Friday, but they didn't give up any more after. They came out on top against the Little River Academy Bumblebees by a score of 21-14. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Bumblebees: they've now won three in a row.

Kase Evans went supernova, throwing for 200 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 49 yards and one score.

Lexington didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Little River Academy to a completion percentage of just 26.9%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from four players: Lincoln Bryan, Robert Kellenberger, Chris Smith, and Brock Herring, who each logged one passes deflected.
