You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Hamtramck on Monday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Mt. Clemens Battling Bathers out of the water with a 55-23 final score. The Cosmos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Several Battling Bathers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alyssa Pelione, who posted ten points. Pelione is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Jaidah Williams was another key player, putting up seven points.

The win made it two in a row for Hamtramck and bumps their season record up to 10-4. As for Mt. Clemens, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Hamtramck will challenge Arbor Prep at 6:00 p.m. on January 21st. As for Mt. Clemens, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 46-45 victory against Lincoln-King Academy on the 14th.
