Volleyball Recap: Clark Comes Up Short

Clark was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Friday.

Lauren Lazaro paced Clark's offense, picking up four kills. Lazaro got some help from Reina Bungay and her ten assists.

Clark's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-11 record this season.

Clark wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Sweetwater on the 11th. As for Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Pine View on the 11th.
