Soccer Recap: St. Francis Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Francis). They put the hurt on the Lake Park Lancers with a sharp 8-1 victory on Thursday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded St. Francis with their most commanding win of the season.

The win (which was St. Francis' fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those four matchups. As for Lake Park, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

St. Francis and Lake Park will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time St. Francis sees the pitch they'll take on Fenwick at 7:00 p.m. on April 8. As for Lake Park, their break will end when they face St. Edward at 4:30 p.m. on April 8.
