Stafford hasn't had much luck against Riverbend recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Indians will face off against the Bears at 6:00 p.m. Stafford is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.

Stafford is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 6-4 to North Stafford, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Denae Lardge was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring three runs and stealing five bases while going 2-for-4. Madelyn Thompson was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Riverbend entered their tilt with Massaponax on Monday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Panthers a 14-0 shutout. Considering the Bears have won five matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Riverbend pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Stafford, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
