Recap: Reading Rangers vs. Morenci Bulldogs
The Reading Rangers can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Morenci with a sharp 64-38 win. The victory was just what Reading needed coming off of a 72-42 loss in their prior match.
Reading found their leader in underclassman Brayden Wright, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Wright is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Kling, who scored 17 points.
Reading's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Morenci, they dropped their record down to 1-13 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
Reading will head out on the road to face off against Bronson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bronson presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Reading in Michigan (Bronson is ranked 210th, while Reading is ranked 597th). As for Morenci, they will be playing at home against Britton Deerfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Britton Deerfield focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 last Tuesday.
