While Los Altos didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past the West Covina Bulldogs 3-0 on Tuesday. The Conquerors haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Los Altos took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-14, 25-15.

Joshua Mainit paced Los Altos' offense, picking up ten kills. Mainit got some help from Phillip Garcia and his 15 assists. Mainit was also solid from the service line: he led the team with six aces.

Los Altos' win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for West Covina, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Los Altos wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Colony on the 13th. As for West Covina, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Alta Loma on the 13th.
