Volleyball Recap: Eaton Rapids' Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Eaton Rapids had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the Sexton Big Reds 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Greyhounds also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Eaton Rapids was: they took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-6, 25-11.

Abi Pratt was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had eight aces and four digs. Those eight aces gave her a new career-high. Delaney Collins also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Eaton Rapids was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 28 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in six consecutive matches.

Eaton Rapids' victory bumped their record up to 14-7-4. As for Sexton, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Coming up, Eaton Rapids is taking a road trip to take on Ovid-Elsie at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sexton has already played their next contest (against Everett), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
