Soccer Game Preview: Wayne Memorial vs. Howell

The Wayne Memorial Zebras are taking a road trip to face off against the Howell Highlanders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wayne Memorial's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Friday, Wayne Memorial came up short against Franklin and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous five match, Howell brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They put the hurt on Lincoln with a sharp 9-1 victory on Monday. The win was a breath of fresh air for Howell as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Wayne Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 0-9-1. As for Howell, their victory bumped their record up to 3-11-1.

Wayne Memorial might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Howell when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can the Zebras avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
