Marcus has gone a perfect 3-0 against Guyer recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Marcus Marauders will host the Guyer Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Marcus will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Marcus' defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by an 8-0 margin over Braswell. The Marauders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by four goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Guyer faced Hebron in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. Guyer came up short against Hebron, falling 4-0. The contest was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for the Wildcats it sure didn't stay that way.

Marcus' victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those five games. As for Guyer, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-5.

Marcus came out on top in a nail-biter against Guyer when the teams last played back in January, sneaking past 2-1. Will Marcus repeat their success, or does Guyer have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
