Basketball Recap: Cedar Victorious

Cedar saw some tournament action on Friday. They managed a 47-42 win over the Northridge Knights. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Reds.

Ty Rowley went supernova, going 8-for-17 to rack up 23 points and eight rebounds. Those eight boards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Owen Ryan, who posted ten points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Northridge's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Daniel Sunkuli, who shot 43% from the field on his way to 17 points and five boards, and Jett Williams, who earned nine points and four steals.

Cedar's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Northridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Cedar wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 54-42 loss against Roy on the 22nd. As for Northridge, they have also already played their next game, a 49-24 win against North Sanpete on the 22nd.
