Southeast was the 29-0 winner over Grand Valley when they last played one another back in October of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates fell 25-14 to the Mustangs on Friday.

Southeast's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Grand Valley, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southeast will welcome Cuyahoga Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Grand Valley, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against McDonald at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
