Volleyball Recap: North Atlanta's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

North Atlanta proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Holy Innocents Episcopal Golden Bears. The victory was familiar territory for the Warriors, who have now won three contests in a row.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day North Atlanta got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 15-25, 15-8.

North Atlanta's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Holy Innocents Episcopal, their loss ended a 14-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2.

Coincidentally, North Atlanta and Holy Innocents Episcopal will both be playing Kennesaw Mountain the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Golden Bears will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
