The Interlake Saints are taking a road trip to challenge the Renton Red Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Interlake is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.

Interlake is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Inglemoor just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 8-4 to the Vikings.

Wyatt Tang was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Brady Didrickson was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Meanwhile, Renton scored the most runs they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of Foster by a score of 12-10. The Red Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Renton's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Interlake, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7.

Everything went Interlake's way against Renton when the teams last played on April 4th, as Interlake made off with a 17-6 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Saints since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
