It was a good run, but Liberty unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to the Pine Creek Eagles. While losing is never fun, Liberty can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 63rd, while Pine Creek are ranked 11th).

Liberty's goal came courtesy of Addy (Addison) Brandon, who's now up to eight this season.

Liberty's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-4-2. As for Pine Creek, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-1-1.

Liberty wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Rampart on the 29th. As for Pine Creek, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 6-0 victory against Pueblo West on the 29th.
