Soccer Recap: Geneva Takes a Loss

Geneva was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Central Rockets. That's two games in a row now that Geneva have lost by just one goal.

Geneva's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10-4. As for Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season.

Geneva will take on Lake Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central, they will host Huntley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Central have won three straight at home, while Huntley won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
