Basketball Recap: Berks Catholic's Run of Three Straight Wins Now Over

Berks Catholic lost against La Salle College back in February of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Berks Catholic Saints took a 59-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the La Salle College Explorers. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Saints came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked third, while the Explorers are ranked 123rd).

Berks Catholic moved to 6-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for La Salle College, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Berks Catholic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-49 victory against Cathedral Prep on the 28th. La Salle College has also already played their next match, a 75-46 win against Bishop McDevitt on the 28th.
