Softball Recap: West Port Comes Up Short

The West Port Wolf Pack came up short against the Master's Academy Eagles on Thursday, falling 14-4. The Wolf Pack have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Port saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rachael McCumber, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Another was Brooklyn Schoepke, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.

West Port's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Master's Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

West Port wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 13-3 win against Peniel Baptist Academy on the 28th. As for Master's Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 23-5 loss against Mount Dora Christian Academy on the 3rd.
