Soccer Recap: Laney's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Laney barely beat Topsail the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Buccaneers never let the Pirates get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Tuesday. The matchup was close at halftime, but Laney turned on the heat in the second half with two goals.

They hit Topsail with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Olivia Duleba, Laney Parker, and Olivia Hennessey.

The win was the third in a row for Laney, bringing their record up to 8-4-2. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Topsail, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5-5.
