Soccer Recap: Moapa Valley Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Boulder City, Moapa Valley was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand The Meadows School a 2-0 shutout.

Kayla Bushman and Irelynn Lewis scored both of Moapa Valley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Moapa Valley now has a winning record of 3-2. As for The Meadows School, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Moapa Valley is taking a road trip to take on Equipo Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Equipo Academy will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Moapa Valley surely won't give up without a fight. As for The Meadows School, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Pahrump Valley at 5:45 p.m. on September 8.
