Basketball Recap: Green River Comes Up Short

Green River and Rock Springs squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Green River had to settle for second. They took a 70-52 bruising from the Rock Springs TIGERS. The Wolves just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Sam Lionberger continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Rock Springs, going 10-for-18 en route to 24 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Boston James, who shot 55% from the field to rack up 14 points and eight boards.

Green River's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Rock Springs, they pushed their record up to 10-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

As of now, neither Green River nor Rock Springs have any future games scheduled.
