New Haven is 8-0 against Madison since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The New Haven Rockets will venture away from home to challenge the Madison Eagles at 5:30 p.m. New Haven will be strutting in after a win while Madison will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with nine defeats in a row dating back to last season, New Haven turned things around against Lincoln on Tuesday. They strolled past the Abes with points to spare, taking the game 30-16.

Meanwhile, Madison scored the most points they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 43-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pontiac.

Madison dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for New Haven, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-8.

New Haven skirted past Madison 2-0 in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. Does New Haven have another victory up their sleeve, or will Madison turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
