Baseball Recap: Flowers Takes a Loss

Flowers was the 12-10 winner over Eleanor Roosevelt when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Jaguars took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders on Wednesday.

Flowers saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aaron Moss, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Moss has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Flowers' loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Eleanor Roosevelt, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Flowers is set to take on their familiar foe Parkdale on Friday. Meanwhile, Eleanor Roosevelt will square off against rival Laurel at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
