Baseball Preview: Buffalo Bison vs. Bolivar Liberators

Meanwhile, Bolivar is still undefeated this season after their match against Hillcrest on Thursday, but Hillcrest came as close as anyone has to beating them. Bolivar came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against Hillcrest. While the Liberators didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Garretson Cook spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on six hits and racked up eight Ks. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
