Football Recap: Boston Latin Comes Up Short on the Road Against Somerville

Boston Latin had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were beaten by the Somerville Highlanders 40-6 on Friday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

The victory got Somerville back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boston Latin will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on East Boston at 6:00 p.m. on September 12. As for Somerville, they will head out to take on Boston English/New Mission at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
