Volleyball Recap: Upper Scioto Valley Comes Up Short

Upper Scioto Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Arlington Red Devils. The Rams were not able to make up for their loss to the Red Devils from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-12, 25-11.

Raegan Castle paced Upper Scioto Valley's offense, picking up five kills. Castle got some help from Audrey Lawrence and her six assists.

Arlington found their leader in sophomore Raeleigh Bower, who had seven digs and three aces.

Upper Scioto Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Upper Scioto Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Vanlue on the 20th. As for Arlington, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Columbus Grove on the 20th.
