Triopia/Virginia won the last time they faced Astoria/VIT and things went their way  on Wednesday too. The Trojans came out on top against the Rebels by a score of  2-0.
 Triopia/Virginia easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-19,  25-13.
 Payten Petefish paced Triopia/Virginia's offense, picking up eight kills. Petefish got some help from  Lucie Dion and her nine assists. Petefish was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with five aces.
Triopia/Virginia has  been performing  well recently as they've  won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-10 record  this season. As for Astoria/VIT, they dropped their record down to 4-18 with the  loss, which was their fourth straight  at home.
 Triopia/Virginia has already played their next matchup,  a  2-0  win against West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] on the 23rd. As for Astoria/VIT, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  contest,  a  2-1  defeat against Rushville-Industry on the 23rd.
