Softball Recap: Summit Takes a Loss

Summit was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 33rd straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Ridgeview Ravens, falling 9-2. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Ravens this season, with their most recent defeat being a 27-8 loss back in April.

Summit's defeat dropped their record down to 0-21. As for Ridgeview, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

Summit has already played their next matchup, a 20-5 loss against Crook County on the 13th. As for Ridgeview, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 17-2 defeat against Caldera on the 13th.
