Recap: Riverpointe Christian Academy Wolves vs. Holly Hill Academy Raiders
On Monday, Riverpointe Christian Academy beat Holly Hill Academy 49-42.
Riverpointe Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kevin Dukes Jr led the charge by scoring 18 points along with six rebounds and four steals. The match was Dukes Jr's 12th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kymani Robinson, who scored 14 points along with four steals.
The win got Riverpointe Christian Academy back to even at 7-7. As for Holly Hill Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverpointe Christian Academy will take on Ridge Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Holly Hill Academy, they will play host again and welcome Charleston Collegiate, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Charleston Collegiate knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matchups -- so hopefully Holly Hill Academy likes a good challenge.
