Volleyball Recap: Page Starts Season with Loss on the Road + How To Watch

Page had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Independence Eagles, falling 3-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it nine in a row.

Page was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-19, 25-20.

Mazie Bushman paced Page's offense, picking up ten kills. Bushman got some help from Ellie Caldwell and her 21 assists. Caldwell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Page has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Siegel on the 21st. As for Independence, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Christ Presbyterian Academy on the 20th.
