While Mission Vista's victory against Fallbrook wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Mission Vista narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Fallbrook 3-2. Mission Vista hasn't had any issues with Fallbrook recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Mission Vista had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 19-25, 25-15, 25-20, 15-8.

Maya Hopkins paced Mission Vista's offense, picking up 18 kills. Hopkins got some help from Morgan Duse-Anthony and her 42 assists. Sammy Martin controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Mission Vista's win bumped their record up to 24-10. As for Fallbrook, their defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 16-12.

Mission Vista does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fallbrook, they will venture away from home to take on Santana at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
