McConnellsburg had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They came out on top against the Southern Fulton Indians by a score of 3-1. The Spartans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Indians, too.

McConnellsburg had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-20, 28-26, 25-16.

When it comes to explaining why Southern Fulton lost, don't look at Kennedy Hixon. Despite the final result, she had 15 assists and 13 digs. Hixon has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more assists the last three times she's played.

McConnellsburg's victory bumped their record up to 8-2-1. As for Southern Fulton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4.
