Soccer Recap: Casteel Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Casteel, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They came out on top against the Basha Bears by a score of 4-2 on Monday. The Colts have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bears, too.

Casteel hit Basha with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jonathan Villasenor (2), Chris Varvara, and Jake Spain.

Casteel's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-6-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four games. As for Basha, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9-1.

Casteel will challenge Hamilton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hamilton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.5 goals per game this season. Basha does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
