Volleyball Recap: Chadwick Cardinals vs. Greenfield Wildcats
Chadwick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell just short of the Greenfield Wildcats by a score of 3-2. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.
Chadwick took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-19, 15-25, 22-25, 25-8, 15-6.
Chadwick's loss dropped their record down to 17-11. As for Greenfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-16-2 record this season.
After both having extra time off, Chadwick and New Covenant Academy will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Greenfield, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Lockwood on the 17th.
