The Klein Bearkats''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They fell 23-14 to Klein Collins. Klein has struggled against Klein Collins recently, as their game on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Klein Collins to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tucker Parks, who threw for 288 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Parks hasn't dropped below three passing touchdowns for three straight games. Rodny Ojo was in the mix too, providing Klein Collins with two touchdowns.
Klein's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 2-8. That rough patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 27.0 points per game. As for Klein Collins, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.
Klein does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Klein Collins will be playing at home against Cypress Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cypress Ranch will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 296th, while Klein Collins is ranked 23rd).
