Bay took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They breezed past the Arnold Marlins to the tune of 42-6. This was payback for the Tornadoes, who suffered an 8-7 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Bay got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Omari Johnson out in front who picked up 59 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Marquise Wilkerson was another key rusher, rushing for 36 yards and two scores.

Bay and Arnold could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. The Tornadoes (ranked 230th) will meet Mosley (ranked 107th) at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th. Meanwhile, Arnold will face off against Providence Christian at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th with a big rank disadvantage (372 vs. 168).
