Hartselle is a perfect 10-0 against Muscle Shoals since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Hartselle took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Ardmore 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Hartselle has posted since February 14th.

Meanwhile, Muscle Shoals entered their game against Athens on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Muscle Shoals lost 21-8 to Athens. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hartselle now has a winning record of 6-5-1. As for Muscle Shoals, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Hartselle beat Muscle Shoals 9-6 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Will Hartselle repeat their success, or does Muscle Shoals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
