Softball Recap: Princeton Comes Up Short

Princeton managed to slip by James Monroe the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers lost 11-0 to the Mavericks on Monday. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mavericks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Princeton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for James Monroe, the win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-4.

Princeton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 3-3 draw against Woodrow Wilson on the 15th. As for James Monroe, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-7 victory against PikeView on the 15th.
