Cibola is 6-0 against Piedra Vista since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Cibola Cougars duke it out with the Piedra Vista Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Cibola is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Cleveland on Wednesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Cibola was outmatched by Cleveland and fell 66-32. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Storm recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Piedra Vista came up short against Volcano Vista on Wednesday and fell 44-37. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cibola's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Piedra Vista, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Cibola beat Piedra Vista 43-31 in their previous meeting back in March of 2018. Will Cibola repeat their success, or does Piedra Vista have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
