Volleyball Recap: Red Bud's Undefeated Season over After Seven Games

Red Bud had taken Okawville down for four straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Saturday. The Musketeers fell 2-0 to the Rockets. The loss put an end to the Musketeers' undefeated start to the season.

Their offense was headlined by Norah Wagner and Addi Tallman, who picked up three kills apiece. Wagner really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with seven. Peyton Kreher controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Red Bud fell to 6-1. As for Okawville, their victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

Coming up, Red Bud will face off against Roxana at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Okawville, they will venture away from home to face off against Salem at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
