Baseball Recap: Zeeland East Chix vs. Wyoming Wolves
Zeeland East put the finishing touches on their fifth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Wyoming Wolves as the Zeeland East Chix made off with a 13-3 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Zeeland East also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2023.
Gavin Drooger looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
At the plate, Noah DeWitt was incredible, going 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and a run. Quincy Thome was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
Zeeland East's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Wyoming, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Zeeland East beat Wyoming by a score of 6-1 later that day.
