Volleyball Game Preview: Nuview Bridge Knights vs. San Jacinto Leadership Academy Lions

The Nuview Bridge Knights are taking a road trip to square off against the San Jacinto Leadership Academy Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Nuview Bridge is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.

Last Friday, Nuview Bridge was able to grind out a solid victory over Temecula Prep, taking the game 3-1.

Nuview Bridge got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 20-25, 31-29.

Meanwhile, San Jacinto Leadership Academy made easy work of Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School on Friday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

San Jacinto Leadership Academy's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-3. As for Nuview Bridge, their win bumped their record up to 13-6.

Everything went Nuview Bridge's way against San Jacinto Leadership Academy when the teams last played back in February, as Nuview Bridge made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
