Soccer Game Preview: Faith Academy vs. Indian Springs

The Faith Academy Rams will venture away from home to challenge the Indian Springs Student at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Faith Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against Charles Henderson by a score of 4-2. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Faith Academy's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 35th, while Charles Henderson are ranked 88th).

Meanwhile, Indian Springs waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Tigers as they made off with a 4-1 win. Considering Indian Springs have won 14 games by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Faith Academy is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 38 goals over those eight matchups. As for Indian Springs, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-4-3.
