Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bellflower). They put the hurt on the San Diego Cavers with a sharp 15-1 victory on Thursday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Buccaneers with their most commanding win of the season.

Bellflower is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for San Diego, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8-1.

Coming up, Bellflower will square off against Tustin at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for San Diego, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mar Vista at 4:00 p.m. on the 18th.
